The Minister of State of Finance in a written response to a question asked in Lok Sabha, said, "There is an increase in GST revenue in Andaman and Nicobar Islands."

Increase in GST Revenue in Andaman and Nicobar Islands
The Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, in a written response to a question asked in Lok Sabha, said, "There is an increase in GST revenue in Andaman and Nicobar Islands."
The Minister Shri Bishnu Pada Ray asked the following question:
Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state-
(a) The total amount of GST revenue accrued from all the sources in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, including the Hotel and Tourism Industry, during the last five years, year-wise;
(b) Whether the GST collected from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands is credited to the Consolidated Fund of India;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether any portion of the GST revenue collected from the Islands is allocated or utilized for the development and welfare of the Islands; and
(e) If so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?
The Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, replied:
(a): Gross GST Collection (Domestic) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, including the Hotel and Tourism Industry, during the last five years, year-wise, is as follows:
(b) and (c): Yes, Sir. The details of the Net UTGST collections from Andaman and Nicobar Islands are as follows:
(d) and (e): The allocation or utilization of a portion out of the GST revenue collected from A and N islands is not maintained.
