India Post Recruitment 2024: India Post is seeking applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Driver (Ordinary Grade) General Central Services, Gr-C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in Uttar Pradesh Circle on a deputation or absorption basis. There are 78 openings released by the India Post. Candidates should pass the 10th standard from a recognized board or institute with a valid driving license for light and heavy motor vehicles. The maximum age of the candidates should not be more than 56 years old as on 09-02-2024.
In accordance with the official notification of India Post Recruitment 2024, the monthly remuneration for chosen applicants will be at Pay Level 2 (Rs. 19900-63200) in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC. The period of the appointment should not exceed 3 years.The selection of the candidates will be based on two stages: a theory test and a practical test. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can fill out the application form and send it along with the relevant documents to the Manager, Mail Motor Service, Kanpur GPO Complex, Kanpur-208001, Uttar Pradesh, before the deadline.

From amongst the regular Dispatch Riders [Group-CJ and G.-oup-C in the Pay Matrix Level-1 Rs.18000-56900 as per the Revised 7th Pay Commission [PB-1 5200-20200 + Grade Pay-1800 under 61h CPC] in the Department of Posts who possess valid Driving License for driving Light and Heavy Motor vehicles on the basis of a Driving test to assess the competence to drive Light and Heavy Motor vehicles failing which from officials holding the post of Dispatch Rider on regular basis or regular Group-( employees in the Pay Matrix Leve l-1 Rs.18000-56900 as per the Revised 7th Pay Commission [PB-15200-20200+ Grade Pay-1800 under 6th CPC] in other Ministries of Central Government who fulfill the
necessary qualifications as prescribed under:

As stated in the official notification of India Post Recruitment 2024, the age of the candidates should not be less than 56 years old as on 09-02-2024.
Referring to the official notification of India Post Recruitment 2024, candidates who are selected for this post will get the monthly salary at Pay Level-2 Rs. 19900–63200 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC [Rs. 5200–20200+Grade Pay–1900 under 6th CPC] + Admissible Allowances will be regularized as per existing rules.
As stated in the official notification of India Post Recruitment 2024, the deputation term cannot exceed 3 years. This includes the time spent in an ex-cadre office held in the Department of the Central Government immediately before this appointment.
