Indian Army Recruitment 2023: The Integrated Head Quarter (IHQ), Ministry of Defence, Government of India has invited Online Applications from Unmarried Male Eligible for 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme-50 (TES-50) Course for Grant of Permanent Commission (PC) in the Indian Army commencing from January 2024 through the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. Young Ambitious Candidates with Interest in the 10+2 TES-50 having passed 10+2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) Subjects and appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) 2023 Examination are Eligible* to apply for the Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme-50 Course with 90 Vacancies carrying the Monthly Stipend for Gentleman Cadets during the Entire Duration of Training in the Service Academy (i.e., during the Training Period in the Indian Military Academy) shall be Rs. 56100 Per Month* (Starting Pay in Level 10).

According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Monthly Stipend due to Gentleman Cadets should be read hereunder:
Monthly Pay Level 10: The Stipend payable to Gentleman Cadets during the Entire Duration of Training in Service Academy (i.e., during the Training Period in the Indian Military Academy) shall be Rs. 56100 Per Month* (Starting Pay in Level 10).
As per the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limit as on 01.01.2024 should be, as explained hereunder:
Age Limit: Any Candidate must neither be Below 16½ Years nor above 19½ Years on the 1st Day of the Month in which the 10+2 TES-50 Scheme Course slated to commence from January 2024, i.e., the Candidate should neither be born before 02.07.2004 nor after 01.07.2007 (Both Dates/Days Inclusive).
Based on the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification, the Educational Qualification prescribed for 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme-50 Course, is briefly explained hereunder:
The Applicant should have passed the 10+2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) Subjects and appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) 2023 and fulfill the Eligibility Conditions prescribed in the subsequent Paragraphs for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Indian Army for Training in the Indian Military Academy (IMA).
Such Candidates will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the Cost of Training in the Indian Military Academy (IMA) as notified from time to time as well as Stipend and Pay & Allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite Degree Certificate.
The Candidates will be put through a 02 Stage Selection Procedure. Amongst those having Successfully cleared Stage-I will go to Stage II. Those who fail in Stage-I will be returned on the same day. The duration of the SSB Interview is 05 Days. Detailed information in this regard is available on the Official Website of the Directorate General of Recruiting Indian Army Website. This will be followed by a Medical Examination for the Candidates who get recommended after Stage-II.
Merit List Criteria: A Common Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the SSB Interview. The Candidates should note that their Higher Educational Qualifications, Previous Performances, National Cadet Corps (NCC) Background, etc., shall not form part of the Merit List Finalization.
Note: Finally Selected Candidates will need to execute all the Bonds/Certificates as prescribed for the Cadets of NDA Entry under AI 53/78.
Commission Forms:
Grant of Short Service Commission: Selected Candidates will be granted Short Service Commission (SSC) On Probation in the Rank of Lieutenant from the Date of Commencement of the Course or the Date of Reporting in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, whichever is Later and will be entitled to Full Pay and Allowances admissible to Lieutenant during Training Period. The Pay and Allowances will be paid post-Successful completion of Training.
Permanent Commission: On successful completion of 04 Years of the Course, Training Cadets will be granted Permanent Commission (PC) in the Rank of Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
