Indian Army Recruitment 2024: The Indian Army is seeking applications from motivated and enthusiastic unmarried male and female candidates for the position of Short Service Commission. According to the official notification of the Indian Army Recruitment 2024, there are 76 available positions for the indicated opportunity. Applicants must hold a degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Candidate engagement will be on a probation basis. Candidates applying for the specified positions should be between the ages of 19 and 25 years.
Referring to the official notification for the Indian Army Recruitment 2024, eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on examinations/ interviews conducted by the committee. The appointment will be valid for the appropriate term of 06 months. In accordance with the official notification of the Indian Army Recruitment 2024, the age restriction for National Cadet Corps (NCC) candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties) is 19 to 25 years as of January 1, 2025 (born between January 2, 2000, and January 1, 2006, both dates inclusive).
Candidates applying for the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 must possess a degree from a recognized university or institution with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
In order to determine the candidates’ eligibility for the Indian Army Recruitment 2024, the committee will conduct the SSB Interview and Medical Examination. Based on the candidates’ performance in the SSB Interview, the committee will create a merit list. The merit list will serve as the only basis for the final judgment.
Candidates who are interested and willing may apply online by completing the application form found on the Indian Army’s official portal and submitting it to the same website, as per the official notification of the Indian Army Recruitment 2024. When submitting their applications, candidates must include all supporting documentation in addition to their duly completed forms, following the committee’s request. The committee will not consider applications that are incomplete in any way or that are received after the deadline.
