Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022: Indian Coast Guard is inviting applications for the post of Sarang Lascar (General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial). There is only 01 vacancy for SC candidates only. As per the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022, candidates between the age of 18 to 30 years can apply. According to the official notification of Indian Coast Guard recruitment 2022, candidates will be paid in level-4 of the pay matrix.
Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply in the prescribed format given in the official notification and send their duly filled-in application form along with self-attested colour photograph and required documents to The Commander. Headquarters, Coast Guard Region (North-West), Post Box No.-09. Sector-11, Gandhinagar, Gujarat-382010. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. Candidates are requested to visit the official website of Indian Coast Guard for any updates.
The last date for submitting the application form for Indian Coast Guard recruitment 2022 is 17th January 2023. Applications received after the due date and incomplete applications will be rejected.
Note- Candidates selected for appointment to Group ‘B’ posts are liable for posting at any unit/establishment under Coast Guard Organization whereas candidates selected for appointment to a Group ‘C’ post are liable for posting Initially at any unit/establishment under Coast Guard Region (North West) with all India transfer liability.
Sarang Lascar (General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)- 01
As per the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022, candidates between the age of 18 to 30 years can apply.
Relaxable for SC category candidates and Government servants in accordance with the instructions/orders issued by the Central Govt. from time to time.
According to the official notification of Indian Coast Guard recruitment 2022, candidates will be paid in level-4 of the pay matrix.
i. Matriculation or equivalent pass.
ii. Certificate of competency as Sarang from a Government recognized Institute or equivalent.
Desirable: Two years experience as Sarang-in-charge of a Vessel of Twenty Horse Power.
i. Scrutiny of Applications- All applications received from the candidates will be scrutinized subject to the eligibility criteria and necessary documents and the admit cards will be issued to the shortlisted candidates for document verification & appearing in the written examination.
ii. Document verification- All the shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification prior appearing in the written examination. Candidates will be required to bring their original documents and self-attested photocopies (02 sets) of the same as per the directives/instructions given in their admit cards.
iii. Written Examination- All the Shortlisted candidates will undergo written examination on the basis of educational qualifications prescribed for the post. The written examination will be pen-paper based and one hour duration. The Question Paper (bilingual) for written examination will consist of 80 objective type questions with one mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking.
iv. Merit list- It will be prepared strictly based on merit position as per marks obtained in written examination, as per DoPT orders in case of a tie and will be published on the Indian Coast Guard website alongwith necessary instructions.
