• Holding analogous post in fire fighting cadre on a regular basis in Pay Band-1, Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- (Revised pay Level-3 in the pay matrix) in the parent cadre or department. OR
• having three years of service in the grade of Fireman Grade I or equivalent grade of Fireman on a regular basis in Pay Band-1, Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- (Revised pay Level-2 in the pay matrix) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department and possessing the following qualifications.

Assistant:

• The candidates must possess a degree from any recognized University.

Leading Hand Fireman:

• A matriculation pass from an accredited board or its equivalent is required of the candidate.

• The candidate should be capable of independently managing shifts and training, directing, and controlling the fire crew’s operations. Additionally, the applicant must be physically healthy and able to handle demanding tasks.

• Experience using, maintaining, and operating various firefighting appliances and equipment is a must for the candidate. Additionally, the applicant should have prior firefighting experience in a regular civil or defence fire brigade.
