Indian Navy Recruitment 2023: The Directorate of Recruiting, Integrated Head Quarter, Ministry of Defence (Navy) has called in Online Applications from Both Ambitious Man and Woman Genders to join as Short Service Commission Officers (SSCOs) for Executive Branch (Sports and Law) Entries – June’23 Course as mentioned in the Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 Notification.
There are 04 Vacancies (i.e., 02 each) to be filled up with Appointment of Short Service Commission Officers in Sports and Law Branch/Cadre. Those Eligible from among the Valor Spirited Willing to be Applicants for Grant of Short Service Commission Officers, deemed to have met the Eligibility for the same may apply Only following the Standing Instructions explained in the Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the Purpose. The Last Date for the Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 Notification, Eligible Candidates shall close on 28th January 2023 (28.01.2023) notified therein.

Short Service Commission Executive (Sports and Law):
The Youth Candidates, Applicants for the Short Service Commission (Sports/Law Branch/Cadre) should have been born neither Before 2nd July 1996 nor After 1st July 2001 (Both Dates Inclusive).
A) Short Service Commission Executive (Sports):
Educational Qualification: Regular Post Graduate Degree or B.Engg/B.Tech in any field from the Accredited University.
i) The Candidates having gained Diploma in Sports Coaching from the National Institute of Sports with M.Sc. in Sports (Coaching) will be given Priority during Shortlisting for appearing before the Services Selection Board (SSB).
ii) Professional Qualification: The Applicant Candidate should have participated in the Athletics/Swimming at Senior Level National Championships/Games
B) Short Service Commission Executive (Law):
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.)/Bachelor’s Degree in Law Qualifying with Minimum 55% Marks for Enrolment as an Advocate under Advocates Act 1961.
ii) The Candidates applying for this Indian Navy (Sports and Law Entry) should be from any College/University Accredited by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
The Indian Navy Offers Pay on Commissioning is based on the Latest Recommendations as per the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Service Terms: Short Service Commission to the Eligible and Selected Candidates is granted for a 10 Years’ Term, subsequently extendable by Maximum 04 Years in 02 Steps (02 Years Twice) subject to the Service Requirements, Performance, Medical Eligibility and Willingness of the Candidate.
The Selection Procedure for SSCOs (Sports/Law) involved is explained hereunder:
a) Shortlisting of the Candidate’s Application will be based on Normalized Marks scored in the Qualifying Degree. The Marks obtained by the Candidates in the Qualifying Degree will be normalised using Formulae mentioned on the Website in the light of the Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 Notification.
b) The Indian Head Quarter, Ministry of Defence (Navy) shall carry out the Shortlisting Process in compliance with the of SSB Procedures as follows:
c) The Shortlisted Candidates will be informed on their Selection for SSB Interview through E-mail/SMS (furnished/filled in by the Applicant Candidates in their respective Online Application Format).
Note: The Candidates are insisted on to Not Change their E-mail Ids and Cellphone/Mobile Numbers until completion of Selection Process
For Sports only: The Candidates will have to compete on Open Merit for Selection.
Preliminary Screening of Applications received from all the Candidates, will be on the basis of the Marks obtained in Education Qualification, also explained vide Para 02 of the Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 Notification.
The Candidates will be interviewed by a Preliminary Screening Board constituted by the Indian Head Quarter-Ministry of Defence (Indian Navy).
The Candidates found suitable by the Preliminary Screening Board would be deputed for the Service Selection Board in Bhopal/Bangalore/ Visakhapatnam/Kolkata.
Merit List Criteria. The SSB will prepare a Merit List based on Services Selection Board Marks. Candidates declared Fit in Medical Examination would be appointed as per availability of Vacancies in the Entry.
Application Procedure for Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 is given below:
i) Candidate should visit the Indian Navy Website to initiate Online Registration.
ii) Candidate should ensure that the fill the E-Applications with Correct and Proper Information.
iii) Candidate should upload the Scanned Documents.
iv) Candidate should take Online Application Form after Successful Online Registration as the same shall be required for submission before the SSB while appearing for Interview.
