Indian Oil Corporation Limited Nursing Admission 2022: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is an oil and gas exploration and producer owned by the Indian government. It is owned by the Indian government’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, which is based in New Delhi.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited has invited applications from unmarried female candidates for B.Sc (Nursing) Course for the session starting from August 2022 at Assam Oil College of Nursing at IOCL (AOD), Digboi. There are only 30 seats available for this course. The minimum age limit to apply for this course is 17 years and the maximum age limit is 24 years as on 31.05.2022. Marksheet / certificate issued by a Board of Secondary Education for passing the Matriculation (Class-X) examination shall be the only acceptable document in support of proof of age.

B.Sc (Nursing)

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • HSSLC (i.e 10+2) with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) and English Core/English Elective with a minimum aggregate of 50% Marks for General/EWS/OBC category and 45% Marks for SC/ST/PwBD category. The qualification should be from a Government recognized board under AHSEC/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Boards.
  • The prescribed qualification should a regular course. If a candidate is failed in any of the above-mentioned subjects whether it is a compulsory/additional subject, her application shall be summarily rejected. Grace marks given by the board shall not be taken into calculation for calculating pass marks.
  • Candidates possessing professional qualifications such as BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA, etc., or any such equivalent qualification shall not be eligible.

Selection Methodology

  1. Selection would be based on a Written Test (OMR based) of 120 minutes duration. Venue and time of the the written test shall be mentioned in the Admit Card for the written test.
  2. The candidate will have to pass successfully in the selection process (written test) i.e. candidate will have to acquire a minimum of 40% (relaxable by 5% for candidates from SC/ST/PwBD categories against reserved positions) in the selection process for being suitable for engagement for selection to the above course.
  3. Obtaining minimum qualifying marks in the written test does not confer any right or claim by the candidate for being shortlisted for document verification or the final selection, as the same is based on candidate’s rank in the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Test, number of seats, candidates meeting the notified eligibility criteria and documents found in order upon verification etc.
  4. Filling up of seats is solely at the discretion of the management based on the suitability of candidates and no the claim will arise for engagement if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.
  5. The decision of the Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection and cancellation of the selection process, etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
  6. Only those candidates who are declared fit in the medical examination as per IOCL, Assam Oil Division criteria shall be considered for engagement.

Stipend & Training Details

The selected candidates shall be paid a consolidated stipend per month for 1st year – Rs. 2800; 2nd year – Rs. 3000; 3rd year – Rs. 3200; and for 4th year – Rs. 3400
