IndusInd Bank receives GST Demand Notice worth Rs.21.62 Crore for short payment of GST IndusInd Bank announced on Tuesday that it has received a GST demand notice from tax authorities worth Rs.21.62 crore, due to alleged short payment of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, issued a communication regarding this demand order, noting multiple GST irregularities pertaining to the bank, IndusInd Bank said in a regulatory filing. This order has financial implications, including a Rs.21.62 crore total liability that includes penalties. In response, IndusInd Bank has stated that it intends to look into the possibilities of  filing an appeal against the order.
