The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India(IRDAI) vide Press Release dated 14th July 2022 Notifies Ease of Filing Products for Agriculture.

The Press Release is Given Below:

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) in its continued endeavour to protect the interests of all segments of policyholders and improve the ease of doing business has now extended the ‘Use and File’ procedure to products covering Agriculture and allied activities.

One of the main sources of income in India is from agriculture and related activities. Additionally, the negative effects of natural disasters on society’s most vulnerable groups are significant, underscoring the need to develop and provide the right insurance solutions to safeguard them. By doing this, the insurance companies will be able to quickly develop and introduce innovative products for various markets, giving policyholders more options.
