ISC Class 12th Physics Syllabus 2024 Published: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the syllabus and curriculum details for the higher secondary Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams for class 12th. The ISC class 12th Physics syllabus for the 2024 examinations has been made available for download. The paper code for ISC class 12th Physics is 861. Students should quickly check the syllabus for this important subject in order to score better in their board exams.

As the examination cycle has finished, and the new academic session has begun, it is important to know about the syllabus early. The CISCE acted swiftly and released the detailed syllabus at the beginning of the new academic session. It is crucial to know about the detailed syllabus so that students can have ample time to prepare accordingly. The unit-wise weightage helps students to devote proportional time to each chapter. ISC Class 12th Physics Syllabus 2024:

The ISC class 12th Physics exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. The ISC class 12th Physics paper is held for 100 marks. Paper I is a written theory examination that is conducted for 70 marks. The duration of the Paper I exam is 3 hours. The Paper II exam consists of a Practical examination, a Project Work, and a Practical File. The Practical for ISC class 12th physics is held for 3 hours. The Practical exam is held for 15 marks. The project work is conducted for 10 marks and 5 marks are given for practical file completion.

 Paper I Syllabus: 70 marks

Paper I (Theory) will be conducted during the board examinations in 2024. Candidates will have to answer all questions. The Physics paper will have an internal choice in two questions of 2 marks each and 3 marks each. The choice will be available in all three questions of 5 marks each. Paper II Syllabus: 30 marks

i) Practical Work

Conducted for 15 marks. Most of the experiments for laboratory work and practical examinations are from two groups:

Group 1: Experiments based on ray optics

Group 2: Experiments based on current electricity

ii) Project Work

The project contains a weightage of 10 marks. Candidates will have to take any one of the following types of projects:

  1. Theoretical project
  2. Working Model
  3. Investigatory project

iii) Practical File: 5 marks
