ITR 2023-24: IT Dept released MAC and JSON utilities for filing ITR-5 for AY 2024-25 The Income Tax Department has released the MAC utility and JSON Scheme for filing ITR-5 for the financial year 2024-25. IT Department has established a variety of forms for different taxpayers. An assessee should select the right form based on their source of income. One such Income Tax Return (ITR) is the ITR 5 Form, which is for a certain type of taxpayer, such as a firm, LLP, AOP, etc. This income tax return is for firms, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), Associations of Persons (AOPs), Bodies of Individuals (BOIs), AJPs (Artificial Juridical Persons), deceased estates, bankrupt estates, business trusts, and investment funds. ITR 5 For persons other than- (i) individual, (ii) HUF, (iii) company and (iv) person filing Form ITR-7.
