ITR Filing 2023: Over 4 crore Income Tax Returns for AY 2023-24 filed till 24th July The Income Tax Department has been grateful to the taxpayers and tax professionals for having helped them to reach the milestone of 4 crore Income Tax Returns (ITRs), 4 days early this year, compared to the preceding year! Over 4 crore ITRs for AY 2023-24 have already been filed as of July 24th this year, compared to July 28th last year. 3.81 crore ITRs have been e-verified out of the 4.22 crore ITRs filed up to July 24, 2023, representing more than 90% of all ITRs filed!. More than 2.27 crore ITRs have already been processed from the e-verified ITRs! We urge all who hasn't submitted their ITR for AY 2023-24 to file the same as soon as possible to avoid the last-minute rush.
