JKPSC Recruitment 2023 for Assistant Engineers: Monthly Salary up to Rs.160600, Check How to Apply
JKPSC Recruitment 2023: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) is hiring candidates for the Assistant Engineer (Civil) Posts. As per the official notification of JKPSC Recruitment 2023, There are 50 Vacancies for Assistant Engineers (Civil) posts.
Amongst the Eligible Candidates, those desirous of being Applicants for Assistant Engineer (Civil) Posts under Pay Scale Level 08A (Rs. 50700 to 160600) may apply following the Instructions prescribed in reference to Assistant Engineers (Civil) Post vide JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
Therefore, the Intending Candidates may start the Online Application Process. JKPSC Online Recruitment Portal (ORP) shall go Active for the Eligible Candidates to initiate the Online Application Process commencing from 29th December 2022 onward. The Last Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Application Submission Process is 28th January 2023 (28.01.2023). The Edit Window shall remain Active to allow the Candidates to carry out necessary Corrections from 29th to 31st January 2023 (31.01.2023) as per the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission shall conduct tentatively a Competitive Written Examination for the Candidates in the 4th Week of April 2023.

The Candidates shall be appointed as Assistant Engineers under the Pay Scale Level mentioned hereinabove.
i) As per JKPSC Recruitment 2023 notification, The General Merit Candidates (as on 01.01.2022) should not exceed 40 Years.
ii) Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for different Reserved Communities.
The Eligible Candidates should have in possession Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Engineering (Civil) Discipline from duly accredited University or Equivalent Institute or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) Section (A&B) India in the Appropriate Branch.
Selection to the JKPSC notified Assistant Engineers (Civil) consists of 02 Stages, Stage 1: Competitive Written Test for Maximum 68 Points, Stage 2: Viva voce for 25 Points and Due Weightage of 07 Points for the Candidates’ Academic Qualification, Distinction in Sports, NCC Activities and Sports Achievement, etc. to be read in the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
The Candidates shall need to remit the Online Examination Fee prescribed hereunder:
01) Open Merit Candidates: Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand only)
02) Reserved Community Candidates: Rs.500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only)
03) PwBD Candidates remain exempted from payment of the Examination Fee: Nil
