JKPSC Recruitment 2023: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has invited Online Applications from Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Residents Eligible for Recruitment on Superintendent Jail Posts with 03 Vacancies to be filled up and the Last Date for the same having been extended vide the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement Dated 31.03.2023 whereby the Crucial Date Earlier was 30.04.2023. According to the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Commission has Now Further Extended the Last Date to 15.05.2023.
Based on the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Willing and Eligible Candidates may complete the Online Registration Process well ahead of the 15.05.2023 for Superintendent in Home Department under Pay Level 08 (Rs.47600-151100) as may also be referred to in the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued for the purpose.
As has been stated in the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued, the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission shall conduct a Competitive Written Examination 2023 for the Candidates aimed at Shortlisting for Physical Standards Measurement and Personal Interview slated to be held on the Scheduled Dates.
As may be referred to the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 03 Vacancies to be filled up as follows:

Designation: Superintendent Jail in Home Department
Vacancy: 03 Nos.
Recruitment Methodology: 03 Stages comprising I) Competitive Written Examination II) Physical Standards Measurement/Efficiency Test and III) Interview, respectively
Based on the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Monthly Salary accruing to the Officers as follows:
Pay Level 08 (Rs.47600 – 151100)
i) The General Merit Candidates (as on 01.01.2023) should not exceed 40 Years.
ii) Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for different Reserved Communities may be read hereunder as per the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
Based on the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligible Candidates should have in possession the following Eligibility comprising Educational Qualification and Physical Standard Measurements explained hereunder:
Educational Qualification: Post-Graduation in Psychology/Criminology/Sociology OR Master in Social Work (MSW) from any Duly Recognized University.
Gender-wise Physical Standards:
Male Gender:
i) Minimum Height: 5′-6′
ii) Chest: 32″ – 33 1/2″
Female Gender:
i) Minimum Height: 5′-2′
ii) Physical Fit
The JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Selection Process Weighing 100 Points comprising 03 Stages; 1st Stage: Written Examination (86 Points), 2nd Stage: Physical Standards/Efficiency Test and 3rd Stage: Interview: (10 Points) and Weightage: 04 Points for those Shortlisted in the Written Examination and declared Successful Qualifying the Physical Standard Measurement for Selection to Superintendent Jail in Home Department, Ministry of Home Affairs.
