Overview:

London Stock Exchange is hiring an experienced Assistant Financial Controller, D&A Financial Controllership at their Bangalore location. You will be owning the data models for monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet Reporting for D&A which includes building and updating financial reporting packs.

What will you be doing:

Analyzing, and ensuring accuracy of numbers reported and adherence to group reporting policies and deadlines

Prepare, assess, and perform detailed review of Revenue, Operating & Non-operating costs periodically for the D&A business through in-depth analysis and corroborating with stakeholders

Interacting with global colleagues and stakeholders on key aspects and adhering to tight deadlines

Supporting Group Audit, Internal audits & Sox compliances

Provide support and assistance on various ad hoc reporting requests and projects.

Qualifications for this Job:

Qualified Accountant from a recognized professional institute (CIMA/ACCA/CA) or with a Degree in Accounting/ Finance from a recognized university with 3+ years of experience

Have strong excel skills and be confident managing complex spreadsheets to ensure accurate reporting.

Strong process orientation, with ability to design and operate robust reporting frameworks

Knowledge of financial accounting standards (IFRS), best practice controls and practical application

Ability to work independently and as a team, adapt to change and multi-task in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment

SAP, Bex, Oracle, HFM user experiences preferred, but not required
