Hitachi is hiring an experienced Sales Support Specialist at their Chennai location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

Taking the lead in proposal preparation and the coordination of work within cross functional teams including Sales, Service Team Leaders, and Service Technicians / Engineers across the Transformers services portfolio.

Prepare quality proposals, support bid commercial review process, ensure compliance with the proper price and margin results in negotiations with customers.

Estimation, Costing and Preparation of price calculation.

Collaborative working with remote teams and compilation of bid documentation, ensuring the accuracy and correctness of the technical and commercial response.

Following the Approval and Governance process according to the business guidelines, including presentation of the proposal to the senior management.

Technical and commercial risk analysis.

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree and above, majored in Electrical Engineering.

3-6 years’ experience in Sales or tendering bidding estimation related working experience in Transformers, Asset Management, Electrification products, or similar industry.

Preliminary knowledge of design, operation, diagnostics, and the ageing process of Transformers.

Familiar with MRP systems SAP, MS Outlook, MS Office and Sales Force (SFDC)

Finance knowledge and commercial aspects of business

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail.

Time management, co-ordination, accuracy, attention to detail and performing in a pressure environment.
