JSW Dulux has received a Rs 10.61 crore GST show cause notice, including Rs 6.17 crore in proposed ITC disallowance, interest and penalty.
The notice, issued by the Assistant Commissioner, Large Taxpayers Unit, Bengaluru, relates to the period from April 2022 to March 2023. The GST authorities have proposed disallowing ITC amounting to Rs 6.17 crore.
Including interest of Rs 3.82 crore and a penalty of Rs 61.70 lakh, the total liability mentioned in the notice stands at Rs 10,60,96,432.
The company received the notice on September 14, 2026, and said the matter is still at the Show Cause Notice stage. JSW Dulux stated that it has the opportunity to make further submissions before the concerned authorities and is in the process of preparing its response within the prescribed timeframe.
The company has disclosed the matter to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
