Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023: The Registrar General And Secretary (RGS), Civil Judges Recruitment Committee, High Court Of Karnataka, Bengaluru has called in Online Applications from the Candidates Competent and Eligible for Civil Judge Posts through this Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification Dated 9th March 2023 (09.03.2023).
Based on the Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 57 Vacancies inclusive of 16 Backlog Posts to be filled up through Selection by way of Direct Recruitment. According to the Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification, Online Recruitment Application (ORA) Process for Karnataka High Court Civil Judges is already in progress. The Last Date notified in this Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Advertisement shall close on 10th April 2023 (10.04.2023). The Last Date for completion of the Application annexed with the Requisite Examination Fee and Enclosures is 13th April 2023 (13.04.2023).
Based on the Karnataka High Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 57 Vacancies comprising 16 Vacancies to be filled up through Direct Recruitment.

According to the Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Pay Scale Applicable to the Candidate selected as Civil Judge

According to the Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification, following are the Age Limits stipulated for General (Open) Merit Candidates:
I) Direct Recruitment: The Un-Reserved Category Candidate should Not be Exceeding 35 Years.
II) In-Service Candidate: The Un-Reserved Category Candidate should Not be Exceeding 40 Years.
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates is mentioned in the Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
Minimum Qualifications:
A. Direct Recruitment:
i) Must have in possession Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.)/Master of Legal Laws (LL.M.) granted by any Accredited University established by Law in India and must have enrolled as an Advocate.
B. In-Service Candidates:
I) Must have in possession Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.)/Master of Legal Laws (LL.M.) granted by any Accredited University established by Law in India
Note:
a) All In-service Candidates with the Required Qualification working in the High Court and in the District Judiciary irrespective of their respective Cadres are Eligible to apply for the Post of Civil Judge.
b) Assistant Public Prosecutors/Additional Government Pleaders who are working in the Department of Prosecutions and Government Litigation are also eligible to apply for the Post of Civil Judges.
The Recruitment Methodology for selection on Civil Judge through Direct Recruitment shall be carried through based on Aggregate Marks obtained in a Competitive Examination (Main Written Examination) and Viva-Voce conducted by High Court of Karnataka.
1) The Competitive Examination for Recruitment of Civil Judges consists of 03 Stages explained hereunder:
a) Preliminary (Objective-Type) Examination: 100 Marks
b) Main (Conventional/Descriptive) Written Test: 400 Marks
c) Viva-Voce: 100 Marks
d) Computer Knowledge Test (CKT): 25 Marks
The Marks secured in the Preliminary Examination is considered only for the Candidates’ Eligibility for the Main Written Examination. According to the Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Notification, Final Selection on Civil Judge Post shall be carried out by reckoning the Candidate’s Marks secured in the Main Examination and Viva-voce/Interview in compliance with the Karnataka Judicial Service (Recruitment) Rules 2004 and Amendment Rules 2011, 2015 and 2016, the High Court of Karnataka.
Based on the Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Examination Fee Remittance to be done by the Candidates are as follows:
A) Preliminary Examination Fee:
I) General Merit and Category-II(A)/II(B)/III(A)/III(B) should need to remit the Requisite Examination Fee of Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand) only.
II) Reserved Community Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Category-I Candidates: Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only.
Main Written Examination:
I) General Merit Candidates: Rs. 1500 (Rupees One Thousand and Five Hundred) only.
II) Reserved Community Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Category-I Candidates: Rs.750 (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty) only.
