Qualification and Experience for KMRL Recruitment 2023

Candidates should have a BE/B Tech/BSc. (Engg.) in Electrical/Mechanical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering discipline from a recognized Institution or University.

Experience-

• 25 years Post Qualification service in Group ‘A’ Service in Indian Railways or Executive service in Railway PSU’s/Subsidiary/Sister Concern with 05 years experience at senior levels in Railway/Metro electrification works/Rolling Stock/Signalling & Telecommunication projects of large nature.
• Candidates should have experience and knowledge of interfacing with railway or metro-related disciplines such as track laying works, signalling, electrification and rolling stock etc.
• The applicants should have experience in tendering/contract management and project management of important electrical structures and/or signalling and telecom systems from domestic and international vendors as a team leader.
• Candidates must have experience and knowledge of handling Metro Rail/EMU/Rail operations.

Desirable-

• Experience in all phases of major rail-based urban transportation projects on contracts- Planning, Bid documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning etc.
• Experience in implementing major projects and complying with project-related requirements of international funding institutions.

Minimum requirements on the scale of pay-

• Public Sector Executives in the pay scale of Rs.120000-280000(Revised) or Rs.51300-73000(Pre-revised IDA) or equivalent pay scale certified by the Competent Authority or Higher. OR
  Government Officer working in level 14 of the 7th CPC or senior Administrative Grade (SAG) with Grade
• Pay of Rs.10000 CDA of Rs.37400-67000 (Pre-revised) or Higher.

Tenure for KMRL Recruitment 2023

In accordance with the official notification of KMRL recruitment 2023, the appointment will be on a contract/deputation basis. Candidates will be engaged for a period of 05 years but may be extended as per requirements.

Salary for KMRL Recruitment 2023

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of between Rs.180000 to Rs. 340000 (IDA) and other allowances/perks/privileges.
