Govt Extends CCFS-2026 Deadline

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, has extended the validity of the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme 2026 (CCFS-2026).
The MCA had introduced the scheme to facilitate companies in completing their pending statutory filings. Initially, the validity of the scheme was July 15, 2026. As per the present update, this validity has been extended upto August 31, 2026.
The extension has been officially announced through General Circular No. 03/2026, dated July 08, 2026. According to the MCA, this extension has been granted due to the ongoing capacity enhancement and to restore the work at its data centre following the fire incident that occurred on June 5, 2026.
The availability of MCA services has been affected by the restoration activities, which led MCA to provide companies with some additional time to complete their pending filings without unnecessary hardship.
Companies that have not completed their pending statutory compliances yet now have an extra time limit till August 31, 2026, to avail themselves of the benefits of the scheme.
