The Ministry of Corporate Affairs(MCA) has notified Updates on MCA on MCA21 Version-3.

MCA21 version-3.0 is a technology-driven forward-looking project, envisioned to strengthen enforcement, promote Ease of Doing Business and enhance user experience. MCA21 version-3.0 rollout has been planned in phases to ensure minimum disruption in regulatory filings.

The following nine company forms are slated to go active on September 1, 2022: CHG-1, CHG-4, CHG-6, CHG-8, CHG-9, DIR-3 KYC, DIR-3 KYC WEB, DPT-3, and DPT-4 (00:00 hrs). It is planned to complete the deployment of all remaining company forms as well as additional modules like the e-Adjudication and Compliance Management System throughout this calendar year.

LLP filings on the MCA21 V-3 portal won’t be accessible from August 27 at 00:00AM to August 28 due to the impending release of 09 Company forms in version 3. (23:59hrs). The MCA21 V-2 Portal will still be open for corporate filings, nevertheless.

On the MCA website, you may find Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and a demo for these 09 forms (www.mca.gov.in). In collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, several webinars have been held to educate all stakeholders (ICSI).

Phase 1 of the implementation was finished on May 24, 2021, with the release of an updated website, an electronic book, and electronic consultation modules.

As part of Phase-2, LLP Module for supporting all LLP filings was launched on 08th March 2022.
