MEA Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of External Affairs is hiring desirous and willing candidates for the post of Consultant (Legal) in the Ministry of External Affairs Headquarters, New Delhi on a contract basis for a period of 01 year but may be extended as per the requirements. Candidates who have a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a reputed recognized institution from India or abroad with specialization in the drafting of legislation are eligible to apply for the MEA Recruitment 2023. The selection will be based on an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified of the interview.
According to the official notification of the MEA Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates would be paid an annual income of 10 Lakh. The minimum age limit is 26 years and the maximum age limit is 45 years to apply for the above-mentioned post. In accordance with the official notification of MEA Recruitment 2023, eligible and qualified candidates can submit their application form along with required documentation to the Under Secretary (PF and PG) Ministry of External Affairs, Room No. 4071, Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan, 23-D, Janpath, New Delhi-110011 on or before the last date. The applications received after the due date would be REJECTED. The application has already started from 18.10.2023.
According to the official notification of MEA Recruitment 2023, there is only 01 vacancy open for the post of Consultant (Legal) in the Ministry of External Affairs Headquarters, New Delhi.
To Apply for MEA Recruitment 2023, candidates should have a minimum age of 26 years and should have a maximum age of 45 years as on the closing date.

The chosen applicants for the MEA Recruitment 2023 will be provided an annual income up to 10 Lakh and a deduction of applicable taxes. No HRA will be admissible.
The engagement is based on a contract and the candidates who are selected for MEA Recruitment 2023 will be engaged for an initial period of 01 year but may be extended as per requirements and performance. The place of posting will be the Ministry of External Affairs (South Block/ Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan / Sushma Swaraj Bhawan/Patiala House/ISIL Building/Akbar Bhavan), New Delhi.
The candidates will be selected for MEA Recruitment 2023 on the basis of an interview. The short-listed candidates will be called for the interview. There will be no TA/DA payable by the Ministry to Applicants for attending an interview.
As informed by the official notification of MEA Recruitment 2023 notification, interested and willing candidates can download the blank application form from the official notification and send the same duly filled along with the necessary documents to the Under Secretary (PF and PG) Ministry of External Affairs, Room No. 4071, Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan, 23-D, Janpath, New Delhi-110011 on or before the last date. The envelope containing the applicants’ details as mentioned above should be clearly labeled “Application for the position of Consultant (Legal) in PP and R Division of Ministry of External Affairs”. Candidate may also submit their application through email to [email protected] before the deadline. No application will be accepted after the due date.
The deadline for submitting the application form is 07.11.2023 by 05:30 PM. The received applications after the due date will be REJECTED summarily.
