Post Name and Vacancies for MHRB Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of MHRB Recruitment 2024, there are 526 vacancies open for the post of Registrar/ Demonstrator/Resident Physician in Government Medical College Hospitals under the Medical Education and Research Department. 

Age Limit for MHRB Recruitment 2024: 

Candidates must have the indicated age for applying to MHRB Recruitment 2024.

• Candidate should have a minimum age of 21 years.
• Candidate should have a maximum age of 45 years.

Qualification for MHRB Recruitment 2024: 

Candidates must have the required qualification for applying to MHRB Recruitment 2024 as described below-

For Broad Speciality-

• The candidates should have a Post Graduation degree (MD/ MS/ DNB) in the concerned subject from an institute under any Indian University recognized by the National Medical Commission (previously MCI) / National Board of Education (NBE) for the following Departments-
• Anaesthesiology, Dermatology, ENT, Emergency Medicine, FSM, Medicine, Microbiology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Oand G, Pharmacology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, PM and R, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, SPM (Community Medicine), TB and Chest, (Pulmonary Medicine), Nuclear Medicine.
• The candidates should have a post-graduation degree MS (Anatomy)/MSc (Medical Anatomy) with a PhD in Medical Anatomy for Anatomy Department.
• The candidates should have an MD (Biochemistry) / MSc (Medical Biochemistry) with a PhD in Medical Biochemistry for the Biochemistry Department.
• The candidates should have a post-graduation degree in MD (Physiology) / MSc (Medical Physiology) with a PhD in Medical Physiology for the Physiology Department.

For Super Specialty-

• The candidates should have a Post Graduation Degree (MD/DNB) in General Medicine for Medical Super Specialty (Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology).
• The candidates should have a Post Graduate (MS/DNB) in General Surgery for Surgical Super Specialty (Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neuro-Surgery, Urology, Paediatric Surgery).

Salary for MHRB Recruitment 2024: 

The candidates who are selected for MHRB Recruitment 2024 will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.57700 to Rs.182400 (Academic level 10) plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules. 

Selection Process for MHRB Recruitment 2024:

The candidates will be selected for MHRB Recruitment 2024 on the basis of an interview. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated later for the date, time and venue of the interview. 

Application Fee for MHRB Recruitment 2024: 

Candidates who belong to the General Category have to pay Rs.250 and candidates who belong to the OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) categories have to pay Rs.150 as an application fee to complete the application for MHRB Recruitment 2024. Candidates holding PWD certificates are exempted from payment of fees. The payment will be made through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210- Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt” OR The Fees can be deposited online using the Government Receipt Accounting System-GRAS.

In accordance with the official notification of MHRB Recruitment 2024, desirous and willing candidates have to complete their online application through the official website of NHM Assam on or before the due date. No other mode of application will be accepted.
