Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, has called in Applications from the Officers Eligible for Appointment on the Post Director on Deputation (ISTC) Basis in the Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Medziphema, District Dimapur, Nagaland. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification, there is 01 Vacancy to be filled up on Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis in the Central Institute of Horticulture under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Government of India. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Pay Scale Level Applicable to Director Post  in the General Central Service, Group ‘A” Gazetted. Non-Ministerial) in Pay Scale Level-13A in the Pay Matrix (Rs.131100-216600) on Deputation (ISTC).

The Pay accruing to the Officer selected on Deputation Basis will be regulated in the Pay Scale attached in accordance with the Department of Personnel and Training Office Memorandum No. 6/8/2009-Establishment (Pay II) Dated 17.06.2010 as amended from time to time.

Eligibility under Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Recruitment 2023:

Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Recruitment 2023 mandates the Eligibility including Educational Qualification, Post-Qualification Experience, etc., as explained hereunder:

Only Officers under the Central Government/State Governments holding Analogous Posts with Requisite Eligibility specific to the Post on a Regular Basis should apply through Proper Channel as has been notified in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Essential:
A) The Officers from the Central Government/Union Territory Administration/Public Sector Undertaking/ Accredited Research Institute/Agricultural University/Statutory/Autonomous Organization:

A.1) holding Analogous Posts on Regular basis in the Parent Cadre Department; Or

2) With 02-Years’ Regular Service in the Pay Matrix Level 13; Or

3) With 06-Years’ Regular Service in the Pay Matrix Level 12; With

B) the Educational Qualifications and Experience; viz.,

1) Master’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from any Accredited University;

2) Philosophiae Doctor (Doctorate) in Agriculture/Horticulture from any Accredited University;

3) 12-Years in the Domain of Horticultural Development/Horticulture Research in the Central Government/ State Government/Union Territory/Public Sector Undertaking/Accredited Research Institute/Agriculture University or Statutory or Autonomous University.

Desirable: Experience of working in the ICT Projects/ E-Governance/ Networking/Telecom/Data Center Operations/IT Procurement and Inventory Management/Software Development/Database Administration/Information Security.

Selection Criteria under Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Recruitment 2023:

Selection for Appointment on Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis shall be carried through by Deputation. The Pay accruing to the Officer selected on Deputation Basis will be regulated in the Pay Scale attached in accordance with the Department of Personnel and Training Office Memorandum No. 6/8/2009-Establishment (Pay II) Dated 17.06.2010 as amended from time to time.

Deputation Tenure: The Deputation Tenure (Including Short-Term Contractual) including the Deputation (ISTC) Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar/some other Organization/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 05 (Five) Years.
