Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited Online Applications from the Candidates duly Eligible for the Research Officer (Naturopathy) Post under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India vide the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. The Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has 01 Vacancy with Posting under the Ministry of AYUSH Organization. The notified 01 Vacancy has been earmarked for Un-Reserved Category/Open Market Candidate. Research Officer (Naturopathy) Post under General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial is Permanent. According to the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, all Eligible Candidates with a Desire for the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) Research Officer (Naturopathy) may complete the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) Process up to the Last Date 27.04.2023 as per the Instructions prescribed therein.
As per the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the notified AYUSH Research Officer (Naturopathy) Post shall be filled up under the Pay Matrix Level 10 (Rs.56100-177500) of the Pay Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission under the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, those selected as Research Officer (Naturopathy) post Appointment shall be entitled to Monthly Salary in the Pay Matrix Level 10 hereinunder:

As per the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the following Category-wise and Reserved Community-specific Age Limits are prescribed:
1) The Un-Reserved Applicant should not exceed 35 Years as on the Closing Date 27.04.2023.
2) The Upper Age Limitation remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.
3) For Age Concessions applicable to some other Categories of Applicants, the Applicants should refer to the relevant Paragraphs of the “Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection” of the UPSC-issued Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
The Eligibility comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience essential as per the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for the Applicants are as follows:

Willing Candidates with Eligibility should have the Eligibility comprising the Educational and Desirable Qualifications narrated hereunder:
Essential Criteria:
A) Educational Qualification(s):
i) 5½ Years’ Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science (BNYS) Degree from any Accredited University/ Institute.
ii) Post-Graduate Degree in Naturopathy from any Accredited University/Institute.
Desirable Qualification(s): Philosophiae Doctor/Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Naturopathy from any Duly Accredited University Or Institute.
Note: The Qualifications and the Qualification with regard to Experience in respect of the Candidates, otherwise well-qualified, are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.
Based on the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued, the Union Public Service Commission shall carry through the Recruitment Test Selection with Other Criteria also explained hereunder:
Recruitment Methodology:
In the event of the Applications received relatively in a large number from Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission will adopt the Shortlisting Criteria for restricting the number to only Eligible Candidates to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:
a) “Based on the Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs), if more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.
b) On the basis of Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
c) Based on Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
d) By reckoning the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquired Essential Qualifications of the Candidate Applicants.
e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).
f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).
Note-II: Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks:
As has been explained in the Ministry of AYUSH Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Viva-voce/Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks with the Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks for Selection to be read hereunder:
i) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interview or by holding a Recruitment Test (RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder:
a) Un-Reserved (UR) Category: Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks
b) Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 50 Marks
c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks
d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste/Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBD/s): 40 Marks.
ii) In cases where Selection is carried through by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories in the course of the Interview Stage.
Following is the Category-wise Application Fee and Payment Gateway for remittance by the Applicants:
I) The General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates shall have to pay the Application Fee Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five only) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the Net-Banking Facility of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card Payment Gateway.
II) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from payment of the Application Fee.

iii) Initiate the Online Application Process as per the Instructions on the Online Registration Application Portal.
iv) Upload Scanned Signature, Photograph for uploading with Online Recruitment Application.
v) Upload Self-attested Documents on the UPSC Online Registration of Application.
vi) Remit the Application Fee Online through any of the Payment Gateways; viz., Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.
