Based on the Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there exist 04 Vacancies to be filled up for a Short-Term 06 Months with 01 more Extension up to Maximum 06 Months and subsequently 06 Extensions with 06 Months’ Duration.

Monthly Remuneration under Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023:

The Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has stipulated disbursement of the Monthly Remuneration and Allowances explained hereunder:

The Remuneration and Allowances Payable to the Consultants under Group ‘ B’ and Group ‘C’ Levels will be as per the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance Office Memorandum No. 03-25/2020-E-IIIA dated 09.12.2020 endorsed by the Department of Telecommunications Letter No. 1-3(01)/2021-PAT Dated 08-02-2021 (Copy at Annexure-C) and that of the Retired PSU Personnel will be in accordance with the DoT HQ Letter N0 3-10/2014-SEA-I/Fin Dated 29-03-2022 (Copy at Annexure- D) and subsequent Amendments/Orders issued by the DoT HQ in this regard from time to time. Taxes as per prevailing Rules shall be deducted before effecting any Payment.

Maximum Age Limit for Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023:

According to the Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Maximum Age Limit for the Willing Eligible Candidates is as follows:

Age Limit: Not to exceed 64 Years on the Last Date of Submission of the Application.

Eligibility under Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023:

A) For the Officers retired from Central Government:

i) For Consultant at AD Level (Group-B): Retired from CDA Scale with Substantive Grade Level 08 of the 7th CPC.

ii) For Consultant at JTO Level (Group-B): Retired from CDA Scale with Substantive Grade of Level 07 of the 7th CPC.

iii) For Consultant at Group ‘C’ Level (Group-B): Retired from CDA Scale with Substantive Grade of Level 4/5 of the 7th CPC.

B) For the Officers retired from Public Sector Undertakings:

i) For Consultant at AD Level (Group-B): Retired from CDA Scale with Minimum Substantive Grade of Level 08 of the 7th CPC (Or) Equivalent IDA Scale (Or) holding analogous Post or Above.

ii) For Consultant at JTO Level (Group-B): Retired from CDA Scale with Substantive Grade of Level 07 of the 7th CPC (Or) Equivalent IDA Scale (Or) holding Analogous Post or Above.

iii) For Consultant at JTO Level (Group-B): Retired from CDA Scale with Substantive Grade of Level 4/5 of the 7th CPC (Or) Equivalent IDA Scale or holding Analogous Post.

Note: Preference for Selection on to Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ Consultants will be given to the Applicants from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited), MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited)/ITIL (ITI Limited)/ TCIL (Telecommunications Consultants India Limited) Background.

Note*: However, the Ex-Personnel retired person from BSNL/MTNL under VRS-2019 are Ineligible to apply.

Desirable: Sufficient Computer Knowledge With having Preferable Knowledge of the Department of Telecommunications Field Unit (DoTFU) as mentioned in any of the Works as stipulated in Annexure-A of this Notification.

Selection Criteria under DOT Recruitment 2023:

A Selection Panel shall be constituted for the Selection Purpose with a 06 Months’ Validity. Suitable Candidates may also be called in for Personal Interaction/Interview (Physical or on Video Conferencing).

The Consultants will be engaged on a Short-Term Contractual Basis initially for 06 (Six) Months. The Contractual Tenure of the Incumbent likely remains Extendable up to another Maximum 06 Months subject to the Incumbent’s Individual Performance and the Requirement of the Office of the Additional Director General Telecom, Assam LSA.  However, the Incumbent shall be accorded up to 06 Extensions with 06 Months Span each until attaining 65 Years.
