Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has issued a notification inviting applications from eligible candidates/students for the engagement of Research Associates under its NCCS Research Associate Scheme. The National Centre for Communications Security (NCCS), Department of Telecommunications, is looking for Research Associates in various fields, including Telecom Security, the Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Transmission, and Hardware Evaluation. As Per the Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023 official notification, the vacancies are located in Bengaluru, and the period of engagement will be initially for two years, which can be extended for one more year based on the recommendations of the Performance Appraisal Committee (PAC). As Per the Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidates will receive a consolidated amount of Rs. 75,000/- per month on a pro-rata basis, inclusive of all allowances.
The notification mentions that candidates who are currently in the 4th year of their Bachelor’s Degree or completing their Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/ Communications/ Telecommunications/ Information Technology/ Computers/ Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA on or before 07/07/2023 may also apply. However, the final selection of such candidates will be provisional and conditional, subject to submission of the final CGPA/equivalent marks certificate meeting the eligibility conditions at the time of interview/joining, which should not be later than 15 July 2023 if selected. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications in the prescribed format along with other required documents before the last date, i.e., 30.04.2023, to the Assistant Director (SC & HQ), National Centre for Communications Security, Bengaluru.

Additionally, candidates who are currently in the 4th year of their Bachelor’s degree program and are expected to complete their degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA on or before 07/2023 are also eligible to apply. However, the final selection of such candidates is provisional and conditional subject to submission of the final CGPA/equivalent marks certificate meeting the eligibility conditions to be submitted at the time of interview/joining, which should not be later than 15 July 2023, if selected.
It is important to note that the eligibility conditions are as stipulated in the NCCS Research Associate Scheme, and candidates who do not meet the above criteria will not be considered for the position.
As per the Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023 official notification, there is an age limit for candidates applying for the Research Associate position. The age limit varies according to the educational qualification of the candidate. Candidates who have completed their Graduation/BE/BTech should be below 28 years of age, Post Graduates/MTech/MS should be below 30 years of age, and Ph.D. candidates should be below 32 years of age as of 1st July of the year of advertisement.
As per the Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2023 official notification, the remuneration for Research Associates (RA) under the NCCS Research Associate Scheme will be a consolidated amount of Rs. 75,000/- per month on a pro-rata basis, which includes all taxes. In addition, there will be an annual increase of Rs. 7,500/- subject to satisfactory performance.
It should be noted that this amount is fixed and non-negotiable, and no additional benefits or allowances will be provided apart from the remuneration mentioned.
