Ministry of Corporate Affairs Recruitment  2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has sought Applications from the Officers meeting Eligibility in reference to Appointment into the Post of Assistant Director (Corporate Law) in the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), All India Service Liability (AISL), the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).

Amongst the Officers, those who are Eligible for the Post of Assistant Director (Corporate Law) under the General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) Post may apply with respective Candidature on Online Recruitment Application (ORA) Process. Before initiating the Online Application follow the Instructions explained in the UPSC-issued Recruitment Notification 2022 for the Employment Opportunity.

There are 13 Vacancies inclusive of 06 Posts earmarked for the General Merit (Un-Reserved Category) Candidates to be filled with Assistant Director (Corporate Law) Posts in the Serious Fraud Investigation Office, All India Service Liability, New Delhi.

Pay Scale: Level 08 Rs. 47600 to Rs. 151100 in the Pay Matrix.

Upper Age Limits: Not exceeding 30 years for Un-Reserved Category Candidates and also Economically Weaker Section Candidates as on Normal Termination Date. Scheduled Castes should not exceed 43 Years. The Age is Relaxable for the Regularly Appointed Central/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the Government of India issued Instructions/Orders from time to time. For Age concessions applicable to other categories of Applicants, ‘Instructions and Additional Information for Candidates in respect of Recruitment by Selection are available for viewing.
As regards Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers including ECOs/SSCOs shall be Upper Age is relaxable by 05-years subject to the condition that on the closing date for receipt of Applications the continuous Service rendered in the Armed Forces by an Ex-Serviceman is Minimum 06 (Six) Months Post-attestation. This Upper Age relaxation is also available to ECOs/SSCOs who have completed their Initial Period of Assignment of 05 (Five) Years of Military Service and whose Assignment has been extended beyond Five Years as on the End Date of Online Registration of Application and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues Certificates that they will be released within 03 (Three) Months on Selection from the date of Receipt of Offer of Appointment. The Candidates claiming Age relaxation under this Para would need to submit/produce a Certificate in the prescribed Proforma to the Union Public Service Commission.

Essential Qualification(s): Any Competent Applicant willing for the Post should have the following Essential Qualifications for the Post Assistant Director (Corporate Law).

A) i) Bachelor of Legum Laws from any Duly Recognized University or Institute Equivalent thereof; Or

ii) 05 (Five) Years’Integrated Bachelor Degree in Law from any fuly recognized University or Institute thereof; Or

iii) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any duly recognized University or Institute and Company Secretaryship from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)  from any duly recognized University or Equivalent Institution thereof.

B) Experience: 05 (Five) Years’ Experience in Operation and Maintenance of Tractors, Agricultural Machinery, and allied Equipment including Teaching Experience in any Government or Private Listed Organization; Or

01 (One) Year’s Experience in f Corporate Law in any Government or Private Listed Organization.

Note 1: The UPSC at its discretion, may relax the Fore-stated Qualifications in case of the Candidates, otherwise, well-qualified.

Note 2: The Candidate’s Qualification(s) about the Experience(s) is/are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC, for the reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of those belonging to the Scheduled Caste Community, if at any Selection Stage, the UPSC is of the opinion that the sufficient number of the Candidates from this Reserved Community having the Requisite Experience are Unlikely to be available for filling the vacancies reserved for them.

UPSC Recruitment Test Selection and Other Criteria:

Note-I: The Recruitment Methodology for the Post Senior Agricultural Engineer to be exercised by the Union Public Service Commission will be as explained in the subsequent Sections.

Note-II: The Union Public Service Commission, in the event of Applications received in a large number from the Applicants, shall likely adopt the Shortlisting Criteria aimed at restricting the number of Eligible Candidates to be called for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:

a) “On the basis of Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs) in case more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.

b) On the basis of Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum Prescribed in the Advertisement.

c) On the basis of Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum Prescribed in the Advertisement.

d) By counting the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquiring Essential Qualifications.

e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).

f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).

Therefore the Candidate should mention all their respective Qualifications and Experiences in the relevant Field over and above the Minimum Qualifications.

Note-III: Important Points: Viva-voce/Personality Test weighs Total 100 Marks explained as hereunder:

i) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is made only through an Interview or by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Interview, shall remain as follows:

a) Un-Reserved Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks. b) Economically Weaker Sections 50 Marks. c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks, c) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 40 Marks.

ii) In cases where Selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to achieve the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories at the Interview Stage.
