Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2022: Ministry of Defence has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for the Post of Senior Map Curator in MO-GSGS, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army) for a period of one year or till 18.12.2023 (for an existing vacancy) or till 31.12.2023 (for an anticipated vacancy). The selected candidate will be placed in Level — 06 in the Pay Matrix. There are a total of 02 vacancies for the Post.
The applications (in duplicate) in the enclosed proforma along with the complete and up-to-date CR dossiers or photocopies of ACRs/APARs of the last five years(duly attested by an officer, not below the rank of Under Secretary) and Integrity Certificate (duly verified by an officer, not below the rank of Deputy Secretary) of the officers who could be spared in the event of their selection may be sent so as to reach this office within 60 days of the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.
Senior Map Curator – 02
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall not be exceeding 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.
Deputation (including short-term contract) :
Officers from the Central or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations:-
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level-5 in the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised) Grade Pay of Rs. 2800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
(iii) with ten years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level-4 in the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised) Grade Pay of Rs. 2400 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
(i) Bachelor’s degree with Geography as a main subject from a recognised university; and
(ii) two years experience in the field of maintenance and retrieval of maps in a Government organisation or library.
Level — 06 in the Pay Matrix.
The Period of deputation (including short-term contract) including a period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed four years.
