Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2022: 812 Combat Engineering Training (CET) Camp, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has invited Applications from the Candidates fulfilling the Eligibility Conditions for the Posts 1) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS); 2) Painter; 3) Welder and 4) Lascar Recruitment Notification 2022. There are 05 Vacancies for the Posts.

Mode of Applying: The Candidate should fill up the individual Application in the Prescribed Proforma either in Hindi or English. He should use only Black Ink for typewriting/writing the Application Proforma and the Blue Ink should be used for filling the individual’s details therein.

Note: Application Form duly filled as per the Prescribed Application Proforma supported by Checklist Documents, 02 (Two)
self-attested passport size photographs and 02 Self-addressed Envelope of size 25Cm X 10Cm with Stamps of Rs.25.00 each affixed completely in all respects.

The Applicant must seal his Application in an Outer Envelope and clearly write “Application For The Post Of (Name
Post; viz., MTS/Painter/Welder/Lascar)” on the Top in Capital Letters. The Last Date for the Candidates’ Duly completed Applications receivable by the Officer Commanding, 812 CETC is 30th Date from the Recruitment Notification published in the Employment News 1st – 7th October 2022 Edition.

The Closing Date for receipt of the Candidates’ Application is 30 Days from the Date of Publication in the Employment News including for the Applicants located in the Northern Eastern States, Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Remote Area of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand etc.  The Application must be sent only by India Government Post (Ordinary/Registered/Speed Post).

Selection Methodology: Selection to the Group ‘C’ Civilian Posts shall be through Two (02) Stages. Stage 1 involving an OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Test. Stage 2 comprising the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) involving 1.6 Run to be completed in 390 Second or 6½ Minutes for Male Candidates and 8½ or 510 Seconds by Female Candidates for the Posts of i) Multi-Tasking Staff and ii) Lascar. And Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Group ‘C’ Civilian Post OMR Response Sheet Based Written Test Scheme:

The OMR Answer Sheet based Written Examination (Hindi and English) shall be of 02 Hours for Maximum 200 Marks with Negative Marking of ¼ (0.25) for each Incorrect Response/Wrong Answers.

The OMR Answer Sheet based Written Test shall comprise 04 Parts with each Part carrying 50 Marks, Totaling 200 Marks

Part-I: General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Marks

Part-II: Numerical Aptitude: : 50 Marks

Part-III: General English and General Awareness: 50 Marks

Part-IV: Specific Trade Related: 50 Marks

ii) The Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Passed Certificate with the relevant Painter Trade.

3) Welder in General Central Services Group “C” Industrial Non-Ministerial and Non-Gazetted

Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 27 Years. Relaxation in Upper Age Limit for Reserved Communities. Relaxable up to 40 Years for the Government Personnel.

Scale of Pay: Pay Band-1 (Rs.5200 to Rs.20200) and other Allowances.

Educational and Professional Qualifications:

i) Should be Matriculate or Equivalent from any Duly Recognized Board.

ii) The Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Passed Certificate with the relevant Welder Trade.

4) Lascar in General Central Services Group “C” Non-Gazetted Non-Industrial
