As mentioned in the official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, there are 06 vacancies for the mentioned positions. The eligibility criteria and educational qualifications are different for each post (mentioned below in the article). The selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration from Level-11 to Level-12A. The candidates applying for the mentioned positions should not exceed the age of 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The candidates should have relevant years of experience in their appropriate fields.

Qualification and eligibility criteria are as mentioned below:
Deputy General Manager/ Regional Manager:
The candidates should be an Officer of the Defence Services of the rank of Lt Col or equivalent or Officers under the Central Government. The candidates should be holding analogous posts on a regular basis or with 05 years of regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.3000-4500 or equivalent. The candidates must have experience in materials/ Store Management and inventory control and Administrative experience at the middle management level.
Deputy General Manager (Electronic Data Processing):
The candidates should have a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Operations Research/Physics or Economics/ Commerce (with Statistics) or a Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science of a recognised University or equivalent.
For Programming:
The candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in electronics data processing/computer-oriented optimisation, information or Statistical system out of which atleast 05 years of experience should be in actual computer programming and systems design.
For Information System:
The candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in electronic data processing work, out of which atleast 5 years of experience should be in a supervisory capacity in the design, development organising computerised information storage and retrieval system.
Assistant General Manager (Accounts):
The candidates should have given regular service of 07 years in Accounts and Audits from any of the organised Accounts Departments.
Assistant General Manager (Estate & Works):
The candidates should have a Degree in Civil engineering from a Recognised University or equivalent and at least 03 years of experience in Dealing/scrutinising/ Monitoring/ Planning Civil Works.
Assistant General Manager (Electronic Data Processing):
The candidates should have experience in systems analysis and programming on an electronic computer.
According to the official notification of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023, the tenure will be on a deputation basis for a period of 02 years to the Canteen Stores Department in the Ministry of Defence.
