Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023: The Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has called in Applications from Retired Experienced Officers Eligible for Re-employable Opportunity “Engagement as Consultants on Short-Term Contractual Basis (STCB) (Post Code: 2022/ARMREB/119) in the Armament Research Board/Defence R&D Organisation (ARMREB/DRDO), New Delhi” notified in the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Notification.
Among Experienced Retired Officials from the Central Government/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies Duly Eligible with Considerable Experience, therefore, Willing to be Applicants for ‘Consultant’ Position Short-Term Contractual Basis (STCB) under the Pay Scale Level 08. as per the Post-Specific Terms of Reference (PTOR) may apply following the Instructions prescribed in this Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Notification issued.
The Last Date for the Post-Specific Terms of Reference Eligible Candidates to complete the Application Submission Process through Email, submission of the Duly completed Applications through Mail/Post as well shall close on the 21st Date from issuance of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Notification Dated the 31st January 2023 (31.01.2023).
As notified vide the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Notified 01 Vacancy is to be filled up with Engagement of a Consultant (Administrative/Secretarial Work)

The Retired Officer selected as Consultant on Short-Term Contractual Basis shall be entitled to Salary under Pay Scale Level 08.
Pay Scale: Level 08
Remuneration and Conveyance Allowance for Non-Pensioners: Maximum Monthly Consolidated Remuneration and Conveyance Allowance shall be as hereunder:
Remuneration: Rs.40000 (Consolidated) Per Month in the Pay Matrix of Pay Level 08 of the 7th CPC and other Allowances notified in this Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
The Maximum Age limit prescribed in the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for all Categories of Retired Employees for applying is 63 Years as on the Closing Date of Application Submission (21st Date from issuance of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Notification).
Maximum Age: 63 Years
The Applicant Retired Official should satisfy the Eligibility Criteria explained hereunder:
Experience: a) Officers/Officials as per Terms or Reference of the Relevant Post Code mentioned in the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023
i) Having retired (in respective Pay Level) from Central Government/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, Government Research & Development Organization with:
ii) Practical Knowledge and Experience in the field for which the Individual is applying.
Desirable: The Individual Retired Official should have Sharp and Effective Communication (both Oral and Written) and Interpersonal Skills with a strong flair for In-depth Examination of his/her areas of Work.

The Retired Government Officials with Working Experience in the Defence Research and Development Organisation would be accorded Preference during Selection/Appointment.
