Ministry of Education Recruitment 2022: The Ministry of Education (MoE) has sought Applications from the Officers for filling up 01 (One) Vacancy in the Grade of Special Officer (Book Promotion) on Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual Basis. (General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial Post) in the Department of Higher Education (DHE).

The Officers, who deem to have fulfilled the Eligibility Criteria in reference to Special Officer (Book Promotion) on Deputation Basis (Including Short-Term Contractual Basis) explained in the subsequent Part of this Information Bulletin, may proceed with Applying through Proper Channel within 60 Days from issuance of the Employment News for the Purpose.

Modality of Applying: The Officers should submit their respective Applications in Duplicate through Proper Channel in the Specimen Application Proforma requesting their respective Parent Organisation or Cadre Controlling Authority to forward their Applications clubbed with a i) No-Objection Certificate (NOC), ii) Discipline and Appeal Rule (D&AR), iii) Integrity Certificate, iv) Vigilance Clearance and v) Confidential Report (CR) Dossier including Preceding 05 Years’ Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs)/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) Ratings duly Countersigned and bearing Seal Attestation on each Page and vi) all other Relevant Documents/Certificates in support of the Educational, Professional Qualifications and Experience.

*The Countersigned Confidential Dossiers and Applications of Willing Candidate in terms of the Eligibility Criteria, who may be spared immediately for Appointment to the said Notified Post, may be forwarded to the Office of the Competent Authority.

Selection Process: Selection for Engagement in the capacity of Special Officer (Book Promotion) on Deputation shall be conducted through Scrutiny of the Applications followed by Viva-voce/Personal Interview of the Eligible Officers.

Deputation Tenure: The Tenure of Deputation (including the Short-Term Contract) including the Deputation (including Short-Term Contract) Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organisation or the Department under the Central Government shall ordinarily Not Exceed 04 (Four) Years.

A. i) holding analogous Post on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; Or

ii) with 05 Years’ Service rendered Post Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in Pay Level-10 (Rs.56100 to Rs.177500) in the Pay Matrix or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre or Department; and

B) having in possession the following Educational Qualification:

Degree in Information Technology (DIT) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in
Computer Science or Electronics from any duly recognized University or Institute.B) Experience: 03 Years’ Experience in the Research and Analytical Work (RAW) in the Ballistics field in any Central and State organization/Recognized Institute/University/Forensic Science Laboratories under the Central Government and State Governments.
