Ministry of Education Recruitment 2022: The Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) has sought Applications from the Candidates duly meeting the Eligibility Criteria for the Post Secretary. Such Officers who deem to have duly met the Eligibility for the Post Secretary in the Indian Institute of Advanced Study may apply through “Proper Channel” in the Prescribed Application Proforma via Mail followed by submission of the Self-attested Testimonials and the duly completed Self-Signed and Countersigned Application Format. The Last Date for receipt of the Candidate’s Application (Scanned Copy) accompanying the Testimonials (A Scanned Copy of the Application duly signed by the Applicant with the Enclosures) into an Envelope super scribed “Application for the Post Secretary in IIAS” should be sent and receivable well in time Before or On 3rd October 2022 (03.10.2022) as mentioned in the Ministry of Education Recruitment to the Post of Secretary in the Indian Institute of Advanced Study.

Selection Terms: The Candidate selected to the Post Secretary will be issued Appointment in Pay Matrix Level-14 (Rs.144200-218200) as per 7th CPC on Deputation/Foreign Service from All India Service and All India Group ‘A’ Service as per the Standard Terms of Deputation or Foreign Service.

Mode of Applying: Applications for the Post of Secretary duly signed by the Candidate and countersigned by the Head of Office (HO) or an Officer authorized to sign on his behalf, in the Proforma together with the Prescribed Testimonials and Documents in respect of the Eligible Candidates, who might be spared for taking up the New Assignment within 01 (One) Month from the Date of Intimation about their (His/Her) Selection, may only forward well in time both Soft and Hard Copies; i.e., Advance Copy addressed to the Director, IIAS.

Eligibility: All India Service and All India Group ‘A’ Service Officials holding analogous Post on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department or with 03 Years’ Experience or more in Regular Service on a Post held in Level-13 & Level 13-A as per 7th CPC.

Testimonials for Submission with Duly completed Application:

01. Cadre Clearance/No Objection Certificate (NOC);

02. Facsimiles of the Candidate’s Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs)/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) of the Last 05 (Five) Years duly attested by an Officer holding a Rank at least Under Secretary to the Government of India;

03. Integrity Certificate (IC) to be signed by an Officer holding a Rank at least of Deputy Secretary to the Government of India;

04. Vigilance Clearance (VC) indicating that No Disciplinary Proceedings or Criminal Proceedings are either Pending or Contemplated against the Officer Concerned;

5. List of Major/Minor Penalties, if any, imposed on the Candidate during the last 10 Years Or No Penalty Certificate (PC) as the case may be.
