Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Office of the Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI) has released a vacancy circular inviting applications for filling up two positions on a contractual basis. As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification, The first position is for a Law Officer (Consultant) with a monthly remuneration of Rs. 60,000. The person should hold a degree in Law and possess a minimum of five years of experience in the practice of Law. The duties of the Law Officer include providing legal assistance to the office of CEPI, drafting affidavits, monitoring the status of litigations pertaining to enemy properties, putting in place mechanisms for legal audit, and other legal matters assigned by CEPI from time to time. Working knowledge of computers is mandatory.

As per Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification,  the second position is for a Project Manager (DDG/DIR) with a monthly remuneration of 60,000 INR. The person should be a retired DDG/DIR of NIC or equivalent Central Government Services who retired from an analogous post and have worked for at least five years in the IT sector. Alternatively, a person having a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with 60% marks or a PG in Science/Engineering Degree with formal training in IT/Computer Systems with at least 60% marks and five years of experience in IT/CT System implementation and analysis can apply on a contractual basis. The responsibilities of the Project Manager include implementing IT/ICT in the offices of CEPI and other duties assigned by CEPI from time to time.

As per Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification, the initial engagement period is up to 13.06.2023, which may be extended based on the performance of the Consultant/Official concerned and the requirement of the CEPI’s office. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis and of a temporary nature against specific jobs. The officials will not be entitled to any kind of allowance or accommodation facility. The CEPI reserves the right to terminate the engagement, as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the circular.

As per Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Office of the Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI) is inviting applications to fill up the following posts on a contractual basis:

  1. Law Officer (Consultant):  The candidate must be a retired government officer of Indian Legal Service/Central Government Services who retired from an analogous post or a person having a degree in Law with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the practice of Law. The candidate must also have working knowledge of computers. The responsibilities of the Law Officer will be to provide in-house legal assistance to the office of CEPI, draft affidavits, put in place mechanisms for legal audit, monitor the status of litigations pertaining to enemy properties, and perform any other legal tasks assigned by CEPI from time to time.
  2. Project Manager (Consultant): The candidate must be a retired DDG/DIR of NIC or equivalent Central Government Services who retired from an analogous post and have worked for at least five years in the IT sector, or a person having a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with 60% marks or PG in Science/ Engineering Degree with formal training on IT/Computer Systems with at least 60% marks. The candidate must also have at least 5 years of experience in IT/CT System implementation and analysis and expertise in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The responsibilities of the Project Manager will be to implement IT/ICT in the offices of CEPI.
