Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE), Government of India, has called in Applications from Experienced Officers for Appointment on Post Director (Safety) in the Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labor Institutes, Mumbai on Deputation (ISTC) vide this Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
As per the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Notification, there is 01 Post to be filled up by Appointment of the Director (Safety) in the Pay Scale Level 12 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 78800-209200) by Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract).
The Cadre Controlling Authority under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories may forward the Names of the Eligible Officers from amongst Willing Officers within 06 Weeks of publication of the Office Circulars.

Pay Scale: Level 12 of the Pay Matrix (Rs.78800-209200).
As per the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023, Post-Appointment the Officer would be entitled to the Pay Scale Level 12 mentioned hereinabove.
Not to exceed 56 Years
The Maximum Age Limit for Appointment by Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) shall not be exceeding 56 Years as on the Closing Date of Receipt of Applications).
Officers from Central Government/State Government, Accredited Universities/Semi-Government/ Autonomous Organizations Research Institutions and Bodies
A.i) holding Analogous Post(s) on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; Or
ii) with 05 Years’ Regular Service in the Pay scale of Level-11 in the Pay Matrix or Equivalent in Parent Cadre or Department; and
Essential:
B.i) Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Marine/Production/Industrial Instrumentation/ Civil Engineering/Architecture/Textile Technology/Computer Science/Electronics and Communication from any Accredited University/Equivalent Institute.
ii) 10 Years’ Relevant Experience.
Desirable:
I) Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology relevant to Essential Qualification from Accredited University/Equivalent Institute.
II) Master’s Degree/Post Graduate in Industrial Safety from Accredited University/ Equivalent Institute.
III) Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety from Accredited University/ Equivalent Institute.
iv) Relevant Experience in Planning, Organizing and Coordinating of Research, Education and Training activities pertaining to Industrial Safety, Dock Safety and Construction Safety.
Note: The Qualifications, in case of Candidates otherwise well-qualified, are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.
Selection on the Post Director (Safety) shall be carried through by Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) vide the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
The Employer/Cadre Controlling Authority may within 06 Weeks Post-issuance of the Ministry of Labor & Employment 2023 Recruitment Advertisement forward duly completed Applications (in Duplicate) of the Eligible Officers who could be spared in the event of Selection:
