The Ministry of Labour and Employment has launched the “Other Beneficiaries and Members of their Families Medical Facilities Scheme, 2026” under the Code on Social Security, 2020.

Ministry of Labour Notifies "Other Beneficiaries Medical Facilities Scheme, 2026"
The Ministry of Labour and Employment recently issued a notification (No. S.O. 2355(E)) on May 8, 2026, regarding a new scheme.
The central government, using its power given by section 44 of the Code on Social Security, 2020, introduced a scheme titled "Other beneficiaries and members of their families medical facilities scheme 2026".
This scheme will apply to other beneficiaries and members of their families registered under any scheme, other than the Employees’ State Insurance Scheme, framed by the central government.
Under this scheme, registered persons will be provided medical treatment and attendance from underutilized Employees' State Insurance Hospitals.
