MoF Issues Notification on Amendments to Project Imports Regulations, 1986
The Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) recently shared a notification on November 28, 2025 regarding an amendment to the Project Imports Regulations 1986.
In powers given by section 157 of the Customs Act 1962 (52), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) makes the following regulations further to amend the Project Regulation 1986.
1. These regulations will be known as the Project Imports (Amendment) Regulations, 2025.
2. The following items and entries will be replaced in the Project Imports Regulations, 1986 in the Table, against Sr. No. 3FF, in columns 2 and 3 after item (xiii) and the entries relating thereto:
