Monthly Accounts of GOI for the Financial Year 2021-22 up to October 2021
The Union Government of India’s Monthly Account has been consolidated, and reports have been released, up to the month of October 2021. The following are the highlights: –
Up to October 20, 2021, the Government of India received Rs. 12,79,699 crore (64.8 percent of the equivalent BE 2021-22 Total Receipts), consisting of Rs. 10,53,135 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), Rs. 2,06,842 crore Non-Tax Revenue, and Rs. 19,722 crore Non Debt Capital Receipts. Recovery of Loans of Rs. 10,358 crore and Miscellaneous Capital Receipts of Rs. 9,364 crore make up Non-Debt Capital Receipts. The Government of India has allocated Rs. 3,07,687 crore to state governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes until October 2021.
The Government of India’s total expenditure is Rs. 18,26,725 crore (52.4 percent of BE 2021-22), including Rs. 15,73,455 crore on the Revenue Account and Rs. 2,53,270 crore on the Capital Account. Interest Payments account for Rs. 3,99,737 crore of Total Revenue Expenditure, whereas Major Subsidies account for Rs. 2,09,916 crore.
