MoRTH Announces Milestone: 25 Lakh FASTag Annual Pass Users in Just Two Months
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways shared a press release today, i.e., October 15, 2025, regarding the FASTag annual pass crossing the twenty-five lakh user mark in two months after launch.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways added, the FASTag Annual Pass, introduced on August 15, 2025, which has become very popular among National Highway users. It has already crossed the milestone of 25 lakh users, with about 5.67 crore transactions recorded in just two months across India.
This pass aims to make it easier and more convenient for travellers on national highways and motorways. It can be used at around 1,150 toll plazas across the country.
With a one-time payment of Rs. 3,000, users can enjoy one year of validity or 200 toll plaza crossings without the need for frequent recharges. The annual pass is available for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and gets activated within two hours after payment through the Rajmarg Yatra app or the NHAI website.
The pass is non-transferable and valid at toll plazas on National Highways (NH) and National Expressway (NE). At toll plazas on state highways or those managed by state authorities or local bodies, payments will continue through the existing FASTag wallet balance.
NHAI's effort to ensure smooth, safe and hassle-free travel on India's highways has also received a strong response, which shows the success.
