NABARD Recruitment 2023: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is inviting applications for the engagement of two Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) positions on a contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration. One BMO will be responsible for the dispensary of NABARD at the Office Building, while the other will be responsible for NABARD Officers Quarter at Khelgaon, Ranchi. Interested candidates must possess an MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India and should have a minimum of two years’ experience in any hospital or clinic as a Medical Practitioner. As per NABARD Recruitment 2023 official notification candidates having postgraduate degrees in General medicine can also apply. Applicants should have their dispensary or place of residence within a radius of 5 km from the bank’s dispensary at the aforementioned locations.
As per NABARD Recruitment 2023 official notification, the remuneration for the BMO on a contract basis will be fixed with reference to the actual duty hours performed and will be all-inclusive. The contract for engagement will be for a period of five years, renewable on completion of the contract up to the age of 70 years, subject to performance review. The rate of remuneration and duty hours are specified in the advertisement. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by sending their applications, along with scanned copies of all documents, to the Chief General Manager, NABARD, Jharkhand Regional Office, Ranchi, on or before 21 March 2023. The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration, and alter the duty hours and location of the dispensary at its discretion, in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements.

As per NABARD Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for above mention posts are given below:
Educational Qualification: The applicant should possess an MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from any university recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Post Graduate Qualification: Candidates having a post-graduate degree in General medicine can also apply.
Experience: The applicant should have a minimum of two years of experience in any hospital or clinic as a Medical Practitioner.
Contract Period: The contract for engagement will be for a period of five years, renewable on completion of the contract up to the age of 70 years subject to performance review.
As per NABARD Recruitment 2023 official notification, the remuneration for the Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) on a contract basis for both locations is as follows:
For the Bank’s dispensary situated at Jharkhand Regional Office, Ranchi:
Duty hours: 15:30 to 16:30 hours, 1 hour (Monday to Friday)
Remuneration: Rs. 1000/- per hour for the first 03 years of contractual service and Rs. 1200/- per hour on completion of 03 years of contractual service
Conveyance Expense: A sum of Rs.1000/- per month may be treated as a conveyance expense
For the NABARD Officers Quarter at Khelgaon Housing Complex, Ranchi:
Duty hours: 08:00 to 09:00 hours, 1 hour (Wednesday to Sunday)
Remuneration: Rs. 1000/- per hour for the first 03 years of contractual service and Rs. 1200/- per hour on completion of 03 years of contractual service.
Conveyance Expense: A sum of ₹1000/- per month may be treated as a conveyance expense
It is important to note that the remuneration is fixed with reference to the actual duty hours performed and is all-inclusive. Also, the BMO on a contract basis will be engaged for a period of 5 years renewable on completion of the contract up to the age of 70 years subject to performance review.
As per NABARD Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection procedure for the Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) on a contract basis includes an interview of eligible candidates with fixed hourly remuneration. The Bank reserves the right to set minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates called for an interview, and the decision of the Bank in this regard will be final. Shortlisted candidates will undergo medical tests and submit a Medical Fitness Certificate before engagement as BMO.
