NBCC Recruitment 2022: National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) Limited has invited Applications Online from the Candidates Eligible for the Post General Manager (Law). The Candidates duly meeting Eligibility Criteria Benchmark for General Manager (Law) Post may apply Online. The Candidates deeming to have convincingly fulfilled the Eligibility Benchmark for Application intending to apply may proceed with submission Online Applications with the Testimonials receivable before the Last Date befalling 28th September 2022 by HR Recruitment Cell, NBCC. The Last Date for receipt of the Candidates Online is stipulated 28th September 2022 (28.09.2022).

Note: While applying Online, the Application should accompany the Testimonials mentioned in the subsequent Part.

1) Scanned Signature, Photographs;

2) Testimonials including Self-attested Documents appertaining Education, Post-Qualification Experience, Bar Council of India Enrollment Certificate.

3) Letter of Intent (Joining Letter), Letter of Appointment, Relieving Letter, Post-Qualification Experience Certificate, Last 03 Months’ Pay Slip, issued by the Previous Employer, Form-16, etc.

Selection Criteria: Recruitment for the Post General Manager (Law) on Regular Basis in NBCC. NBCC Recruitment Cell will put up for the Candidates’ View displaying the Shortlisted Candidates. The Shortlisted Candidates would be intimated through their respective E-Mail Identification as well in reference to Personal Interview and Follow ups in due course of the time.

Selection Process: NBCC Recruitment Cell shall accord Preference to the Candidates, duly meeting the Essential Qualifications and Desirable Skills, leading a Team of Law Professionals. Selection for the Post General Manager (Law) shall be through Personal Interview. However, the Selection Methodology will be subject to the number of the Response/Applications received from the Candidates as has been mentioned in NBCC Recruitment 2022.

Essential Qualification:
The Candidate should have in possession Full-Time Legum Baccalaureus or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with at least 50% Marks from any Duly recognized University or the Institute Equivalent thereto established by the Law of the Government of India.

Or

Full-Time 05 Years’ Integrated Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Degree with Minimum 50% Marks from any Duly recognized University or the Institute Equivalent thereto established by the Law of the Government of India

Desirable: Master’s Degree in Laws Magister de Legum or Legum Magister (LL.M.) from any Duly recognized University or the Institute Equivalent thereto established by the Law of the Government of India

Post-Qualification Experience: The Eligible Candidate should have:

Total 15 Years’ Relevant Experience and He should be, at present in Employment on Regular basis for Minimum period of 02 Years in One Step below Post (E-5) in the Scale of Pay of Rs.80000 to Rs.220000 (IDA) or Level 13 Rs.123100 to Rs.215900 (CDA), if working in the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU)/Government Public Sector Undertaking (GPSU) or otherwise drawing Minimum Annual CTC of Rs. 28.00 Lac for the Last Two Years, if working in the Private Sector Company (PSC)/Government Public Sector Banks.

Minimum Post-Qualification Experience:

The Candidate must

1) have enrolled as an Advocate;

2) have in possession Minimum 15 Years of Post-Qualification Experience in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government/Private Sector Companies/Autonomous Bodies or as a Practicing Advocate.

Essential Work Experience:

The Applicant should have the Working Experience in the following areas:

i) Handling Litigation (Civil, Consumer and/or Criminal Matters) before different Judicial/Quasi-Judicial Fora (Forums);

ii) Arbitration, Conciliation and other Dispute Resolution Mechanisms;

iii) Drafting & vetting various Legal or Contractual Documents, providing Legal opinions, handling Legal Matters including the Issues pertaining to Real Estate Regulatory matters.

Desirable: The Candidates should have the following:

i) Working Experience in the Real Estate/Construction/Infrastructure sector will be preferred.

ii) Knowledge of all Applicable Laws, Rules and Regulations;

iii) Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills;

iv) Proficiency in use of Computers and Legal Research Tools like Manupatra, SCC Online, etc.
