NBEMS Extended Last Date to Collect FMGE Certificate; Get All Details Here

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a notice encouraging Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) to obtain their Pass Certificates by 30th August 2024. Candidates who are pronounced qualified in the NBEMS’ Foreign Medical Graduate Examinations (FMGE) are granted FMGE pass certificates following in-person verification of their identity and the documentation required for examination eligibility.

As a result, the official notice states, “All such FMGE qualified candidates who have failed to collect their FMGE Pass Certificates in response to NBEMS notice dated 17.10.2023 are being given another opportunity to collect the same by 30th August 2024, at the latest.”

Additionally, the deadline for picking up FMGE Pass Certificates for the December 2023 session has been moved up from 6th August to 30th August 2024. The notice further stated that entry slips sent out to pick up Pass Certificates and clause 10.7 of the information bulletin for FMGE December 2023 should be read in accordance with one another.

Students who meet the requirements for FMGE must schedule an appointment with NBEMS in order to pick up their certificates. They need to use the Communication Web Portal (CWP) to send a request in order to accomplish this. To retrieve their certificates, students need to show up at the NBEMS office at the designated time. They will need to provide the documentation listed in the instructions provided by NBEMS when they make their appointment.

The medical board announced that students who present the necessary paperwork and authenticate their identity—if needed—with a facial ID or biometric will be the only ones awarded the pass certificate.

If, after 30th August 2024, a foreign medical graduate does not pick up their FMGE pass certificate, it will be presumed that they do not have the necessary paperwork to be eligible, and their certificate will be dismissed.
