Bagisha Tiwari, an 18-year-old medical student in Kota, one of the nation’s centres of education, passed away after falling from a building on the ninth floor. The student passed away tragically one day after the NEET-UG results were released. The results of the medical admission exam were released on Tuesday by the National Testing Agency.

Bagisha Tiwari, who lived with her mother and brother on the fifth level of the multistory structure, is thought to have killed herself on Wednesday, according to the police. They further stated that she was taken to a private hospital and died there an hour later from her wounds.

According to them, Tiwari, who was from the Madhya Pradesh area of Reva, had been studying at a Kota coaching centre for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) exam.

Harinarayan Sharma, the Circle Inspector at Jawahar Nagar Police Station, informed PTI on Thursday morning that her brother, a 12th grader, is also getting ready for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE).

The medical entrance exam results were announced by the National Testing Agency on Tuesday.

Since January, 10 suicide instances have occurred.

Since January of this year, 10 students have died in Kota as a result of taking the drastic measure. The biggest number of recorded suspected suicide incidents involving coaching students in recent memory was 26, which occurred last year.

Officials claimed that Tiwari leapt from the balcony of the ninth story. He claimed that after witnessing her perform the deed, a woman attempted to stop her but was unsuccessful.

After being treated for an hour at a local private hospital by family members and others, Sharma claimed the girl passed away from her injuries.

The girl’s father has been told about the event and would arrive when the body is deposited in the mortuary of Maharao Bhim Singh (MBS) Hospital for the post-mortem, he said.

She had taken the NEET-UG exam, according to the initial investigation, but Sharma said it was unclear why she had taken such drastic measures.
