NEET UG 2024 Re-exam Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) re-examination 2024 result and also the ranks for all candidates who participated in the exam on June 30, 2024. A total of 813 out of 1563 NEET candidates appeared for the re-examination, but as per the reports by the media side, this time no candidate has achieved full marks i.e., 720/720 and hence the All India Rank (AIR) 1 has decreased from 67 to 61. The NEET UG 2024 Re-exam was conducted on June 23, 2024, from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The NEET UG 2024 Re-exam was conducted for the candidates who suffered from time loss during the first NEET UG Examination conducted on May 5, 2024. Candidates were allowed to raise objections regarding the provisional NEET UG answer key 2024 till 11:00 PM on June 29, 2024.
The candidates who appeared for the NEET UG 2024 Re-exam, can access their NEET UG 2024 Re-exam Result through the official website of NTA NEET i.e., exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The NEET UG 2024 Re-exam was organised into 7 exam centres-Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Meghalaya, and Chandigarh, a Union Territory. The NTA released a statement, “Only 52 per cent of a total of 1563 candidates gave retest on June 23. Attendance 813 total. On two Jajjar centres, attendance was 58.09 per cent. Out of 494, 287 gave the retest.” After the results declaration, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the counselling process based on the performance of candidates in the NEET UG 2024 Re-exam.

The NEET UG 2024 Re-exam was conducted on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates. The exam was held for the candidates who had problems with marks of the original NEET UG 2024 Exam. Out of 1563 NEET candidates, only 813 candidates appeared for the NEET UG 2024 Re-exam and 750 students left the examination. As per the official notice by NTA, the candidates who skipped the NEET UG 2024 Re-exam, their marks will be considered as final which they get before the addition of grace marks.
In accordance with the NEET, the toppers list 2024 was released on June 4, 2024. A total of 67 candidates achieved the All India Rank (AIR) 1. However, when the NEET UG 2024 Re-exam was conducted none of the participating candidates (813) achieved the All India Rank (AIR) 1 or perfect marks i.e., 720/720 and therefore the number of candidates who achieved perfect scores dropped from 67 to 61. As per the media report the candidates who appeared in the original NEET UG exam 2024 and who re-attempted the exam, only 6 of them got the perfect scores 720/720.
