NHAI Recruitment 2023: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), New Delhi has invited Online and Offline Mode Applications for Recruitment on to 02 Posts; 01) General Manager (Legal) [GM/Legal] On Deputation and 02) Deputy General Manager (Technical) [DGM/Tech] with 42 (01+41) Vacancies to be filled up vide the NHAI Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued on 01.04.2023. According to the NHAI Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Both Posts; 01) General Manager (Legal) [GM/Legal] Group ‘A’ through Deputation and 02) Dy General Manager (Technical) Group ‘A’ on Promotion Basis having occurred with the Payment Band and Grade Payments/Salaries; i) Level-13 (Rs.123100-215900)/(Pre-Revised) Pay Band-4 (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay Rs.8700 and ii) Level-12 (Rs.78800-209200)/(Pre-Revised) Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.7600.
Based on the NHAI Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued, Online Registration with Application is well in progress with the Last Dates stipulated for Online Application shall terminate on 15.05.2023 or General Manager (Technical) By Deputation and for the Deputy General Manager (Technical) By Promotion the Closing Date is 01.05.2023. The Last Date in respect of the General Manager (Technical) for submission of Online Application Printout accompanying the Requisite Documents from Parent Department is 02 Days prior to the Meeting of the Selection Committee (with Intimation to follow in due course of time)

The Pay Scale Levels in accordance with the NHAI Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, accruing to the Candidates appointed as 01) General Manager (Technical) On Deputation and 02) Deputy General Manager (Technical) On Promotion Basis shall remain as explained hereunder:
01) General Manager (Technical) On Deputation:
Pay Scale Level-13 (Rs.123100-215900)/(Pre-Revised) Pay Band-4 (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay Rs.8700
02) Deputy General Manager (Technical) On Promotion Basis
Pay Scale Level-12 (Rs.78800-209200)/(Pre-Revised) Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.7600
According to the NHAI Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the Maximum Age Limit Based as on the Closing Date of the NHAI Recruitment 2023 Advertisement shall remain as follows:
Maximum Age Limit for General Manager (Technical): Not exceeding 56 Years
01) General Manager (Technical) By Deputation:
Essential Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.) from any Duly Recognized University.
And
Essential Experience: 14 Years’ Experience in the Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 Equivalent to Pay Level 10 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or Equivalent or Higher, out of which 7 Years’ Experience in the field of Law related to Contractual Matters/Arbitration/Legislative Matters/Land Acquisition.
The Officers under the Central Government/State Governments/Union Territory Administration/Universities/ Recognized Research Institutions/ Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Government/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations and other Government Bodies:
i) holding Analogous Post on a Regular Basis in the Pay Band-4 (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 (Pre-Revised in CDA Pattern, Equivalent to Pay Scale Level- 10 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or Equivalent in the IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) Pattern in the Parent Cadre or Department; Or
ii) With 04 (Three) Years’ Service in the Post-Appointment Grade rendered thereto on a Regular Basis in the Posts in the Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.7600 (Pre-Revised in CDA Pattern Equivalent to Pay Scale Level-12 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) Equivalent in the IDA Pattern in the Parent Cadre/Department;
And
having in possession the Essential Educational Qualifications and Essential Experience
Essential Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.) from any Duly Recognized University.
And
Essential Experience: 14 Years’ Experience in the Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 Equivalent to Pay Level 10 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or Equivalent or Higher, out of which 7 Years’ Experience in the field of Law related to Contractual Matters/Arbitration/Legislative Matters/Land Acquisition.
02) Deputy General Manager (Technical) By Promotion
Educational Qualification and Experience required. In case of Recruitment by Promotion, the Grades from which to be made.
Note:
Educational Qualification and Experience: For Promotion: Feeder Cadre post will be Manager (Technical) with 05 Years’ Regular Service in that Post, i.e. Level-11 of Pay Matrix (Rs.67700-208700).
Selection on the Post General Manager (Technical) By Deputation and for the Post Deputy General Manager (Technical) Post By Promotion shall be carried through by Interviews mandated.
Deputation Tenure: The Deputation Tenure including the Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the Similar or Some other Organisation or Department, shall ordinarily be 03 (Three) Years which may be extended for another 01 (One) Year with the approval of Chairman, National Highways Authority of India. Further extension beyond 4th Year and up to Maximum 10 Years shall be with the Approval of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways subject to the Incumbent’s Satisfactory Performance.
The NHAI Recruitment 2023 Notification mandates the Online Application Process, followed by submission of the Online Application Printout accompanying all the Cadre Controlling Authority issued Testimonials.
The Last Date (02 Days prior to the Meeting of the Selection Committee) for receipt of the Online Application Printout (duly signed by the Applicant) from the Parent Department of the Applicant with “Verification Certificate”, issued by the Cadre Controlling Authority in the Parent Department of the Applicant and thereby verifying Entries in the Candidate’s Application with regard to Educational/Professional Qualification/s and Service details (holding of Post, nature of Post, Pay Particulars, and nature of Duties performed, Experience, etc.).
