The General Merit Candidate (In the case of Retired Government Servants as per Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) Guidelines, should be Maximum (Not more than) 45 Years as may also be read in the NHSRC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
In order to be considered Eligible for Epidemiologist Post, the Applicant should fulfill the following Eligibility Criteria
Education: The Medical Council of India (MCI) accredited Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) with MD (PSM/Community Medicine)/MD(CHA)/MD (Tropical Medicine) duly recognized by the Medical Council of India or Diplomate of National Board (Social and Preventive Medicine/Community Medicine); Or
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae) accredited by the Medical Council of India with Master of Public Health (MPH)/Diploma in Public Health (DPH)/Master’s in Applied Epidemiology (MAE)/Diploma in Health Administration (DHA) from any duly Recognized University of India with the Mandatory Experience as explained hereunder:
Post-Qualification Experience: 02 (Two) Years’ Experience in Public Health post-gained mentioned Post Graduate Qualifications; Or
The Medical Council of India accredited Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery recognized with the India Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Program Training Course Certificate; Or
Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.), preferably in Public Health, Epidemiology/Preventive Medicine
Post-Qualification Experience: 03 Years’ Experience in the Public Health Field post acquiring mentioned Post-Graduate Qualification.
Selection of the Shortlisted Candidates found to be Eligible for Appointment as Epidemiologists would be called in to attend Interviews together with the Record Verification to be completed before issuance of Appointment on Contractual Basis.
