Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary between Level-06 (Rs.35400 to 112400) to Level-10 (Rs.56100 to 177500).

Qualification for NIA Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the essential qualification is mentioned below-

For Technical Forensic Psychologist-

• Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology regular course from a recognized University.

Desirable-

• Candidates should have Doctorate Degree in Psychology from a recognized University.
  The candidates should have M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or PG Diploma in Forensic Psychology or M.Phil in Forensic Psychology.

For Finger Print Expert-

• Candidates should have M.Sc. Degree in any Science subject or M.Sc. in Forensic Science or B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University.

Desirable-

1. Candidates should have Doctorate Degree relevant to qualification or Fingerprint expert examination from a recognized University.

For Explosive Expert-

• Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at B.Sc. Level from a recognized University.

Desirable-

• Candidates should have a Doctorate Degree in Chemistry.

For Cyber Forensic Examiner-

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Technology Master’s Degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science or Information Technology or Master of Technology in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized University.

For Biology Expert-

• Candidates should have M.Sc. Degree in Human Biology/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Anthropology (Physical)/ Botany or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Biology/ Zoology as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level from a recognized University.

Desirable-

• Candidates should have a Doctorate Degree in Human Biology/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Anthropology (Physical)/ Botany.

Experience for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the required experience for the specified posts are mentioned below-

For Technical Forensic Psychologist-

• Candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in applied Psychology or Criminology/ Crime Investigation.

Desirable-

• Candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in practicing clinical psychology.

For Finger Print Expert-

• Candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in a laboratory in the development and identification of Fingerprints.

For Explosive Expert-

• Candidates should have at least 05 years of experience in the examination of explosives and firearms.

For Cyber Forensic Examiner-

• Candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in digital investigation/ computer forensics and cyber security work in Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Statutory or Autonomous organizations/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Universities/ recognized research institutions/ private sector inter alia including organizations duly listed on the stock exchange.

For Biology Expert-

• Candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in the Biological Laboratory.

Place of Posting for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be posted in Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kochi, Kolkata, Chennai, Ranchi, Imphal, Bengaluru, Patna, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Jammu and Raipur.

How to Apply for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023 notification, desirous and qualified candidates should obtain the prescribed format from the official website and send the same duly filled application form along with the necessary documents to SP (Adm.), NIA HQ, opposite CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before the last date. No online mode of application will be accepted.

The last date for submitting the application form is 45 days from 01.08.2023. Application received after the due date will be REJECTED summarily.
