Posts Name and Vacancies for NIA Recruitment 2024:

NIA has opened 119 vacancies for the posts of Inspector, Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub-Insp. and Head Constable in NIA on deputation basis, as per the official notification of the NIA Recruitment 2024.

The vacancies are mentioned below:

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of the NIA Recruitment 2024, the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years.

Place of Work for NIA  Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2024, the place of posting for the chosen applicant will be anywhere in India.

Age Limit for NIA Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of the NIA Recruitment 2024, the age limit is given below

• The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Pay Scale for NIA Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the notification of the NIA  Recruitment 2024, the pay scale in mentioned below:

• For Inspector- The selected candidate will be Pay Matrix Level-7 (pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay Rs 4600.
• For Sub Inspector- The selected candidate will be Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs.35400 to Rs.112400 ) with Grade Pay Rs 4200.
• For Asstt. Sub- Insp- The selected candidate will be Pay Matrix Level-5 (Rs.29200 to Rs.92300 ) with Grade Pay Rs 2800.
• For Head Constable – The selected candidate will be Pay Matrix Level-4 (Rs.25500 to Rs.81700 ) with Grade Pay Rs 2400.

Eligibility Criteria for NIA Recruitment 2024:

As indicated in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2024, the eligibility criteria are listed below:

For Inspector-

• The officers of the Central Government, State Government or Union Territories:-
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
• With 5 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200 in the parent cadre or department; and

Possessing the following qualifications and experiences:

• The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Two years’ experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism.

For Asstt. Sub- Insp-

• The officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories:-
• Holding analogous post on regular basis.
• One rank up if, HCs (pay scale PB-1 with GP 2400 pre revised) with 5 years regular services in the grade, and
• The candidate should have degree of Graduation from a recognized university.
• Experience of at least 02 years in the field of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or information technology management.

For Head Constable –

• Officers of the Central or State Police Organization or State Police organizations or Government’ Intelligence agency or other investigation bodies;
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department. And
• Processing the minimum educational qualification of 12th class pass or equivalent from any recognized Board of University.
